Introduction To Food Matters
In a world where many face the hardships of economic instability, Wisdom Trust’s “Food Matters” program stands as a beacon of hope, providing a crucial service to those in need. Founded in October 2023, this initiative offers warm, nutritious meals to individuals struggling due to various circumstances—whether they are out of work, single mothers, retirees, refugees, or students.
Operating on a no-questions-asked policy, Food Matters trusts that anyone who seeks a meal is in genuine need. During this period, over three thousand people have benefited from the service, which has run for two years without interruption, providing over 10,000 hot nutritious meals to those in need. The organisation is powered solely by the generosity and dedication of volunteers who believe in the importance of helping their community.
