Getting Extra Votes
Every member gets one vote every day, when they log in, to help us choose the charities and good causes we donate to at the end of each donations window. The more votes an organisation gets, the more money it gets.
But members can earn extra votes each day by accumulating Points (or Credits). For every 10 Points you earn each day, you’ll be awarded one extra vote.

Wisdom Trust Grants
An important part of The Wisdom Trust’s mission is, of course, to support the work of charities, good causes and all sorts of other not-for-profit initiatives with regular donations from our fund. But we also believe it’s just as important to support individuals too, so they can make small, important changes in their own lives to help make a difference as well.
Wisdom Trust Grants are available to all our registered members, and increase in value, little by little, every time they’re awarded Wisdom Trust Credits (known as Points or just Credits) through their activity on our website.

How To Earn Points (or Credits)
You will earn Wisdom Trust points (or credits) every time you use The Wisdom Trust website. You will be awarded points:-
- When you log in each day (1 point)
- When you visit certain pages (1 point)
- When you read facts, or tips (1 point)
- When you answer questions (1 point per correct answer).
- When you submit your own items or questions (1 point)
- When another member views or answers an item/question you submitted (1 point)
- When you vote (1 point)
- When you introduce friends (20 points)
- When you shop online via our website (20 points per validated purchase).
- Every time anyone you personally introduced accumulates 250 points/credits (100 points)
Plus:-
When you submit your own facts, tips or questions, you’ll be awarded an additional point every time another user looks at or answers them.
When you introduce friends, you’ll be awarded a referrer bonus of 100 points every time they clock up 250 points themselves.
If you finish in the top 10 of the leaderboard each day, each week or each month, you’ll be awarded extra points.
Each week, there’ll be a 100 point bonus for someone who shopped online that week, randomly chosen by the system from all those who qualified for the shopping bonus (above).

- voting for their favourite cause;
- learning and sharing wisdom in the Wisdom Community;
- perhaps even shopping online through the website;
- spreading the word by inviting all their friends, family and colleagues to join us;
- by contributing their own personal Pledge For Peace on our website.
