This project focuses on helping local clubs grow, thrive and open up more avenues for people to get active. This initiative highlights how The Wisdom Trust invests in participation, development and community‑led sport and aims to show how strengthening grass‑roots opportunities builds healthier, more connected neighbourhoods.
Wisdom In Sport
The Wisdom Trust is determined to use all its energy to help support grass roots sport, primarily within the UK, but over time this could expand overseas too.
Two main reasons drive this ambition. Not only does grass roots sport provide brilliant evening and weekend enjoyment for millions of people, but it also offers amazing opportunities to enhance participants’ physical and mental wellbeing.
More widely we can help support charities and foundations set up by professional clubs and associations in all sports but our main focus will be to preserve, support and expand grass roots opportunities for all age groups.
Long-term, we might also work with professional clubs to offer hospitality packages as rewards for Wisdom Trust members who attain high levels of achievement on our website learning platform.
