We champion many types causes — from local sports clubs, schools and hospitals to larger organisations concerned with national or even international issues.

We support a wide range of causes that make a real difference — from local community projects to global humanitarian or environmental charities. By backing such a broad spectrum of good causes, we help strengthen vital work and empower positive change where it’s needed most.

How We Support Charities & Good Causes

Every three months, we donate a large portion of our own income to support the work of other charities and good causes in communities all over the world. And it’s people like you – ordinary people of all ages and backgrounds, from every continent – who help us choose the charities and good causes we support. You can vote every day, certainly once – maybe more than once – and the more votes a charity gets, the more money it will get.

For example, if a charity gets say 10% of the votes in any donations quarter, they will get 10% of the donations fund we set aside during that period. Or if another cause gets 1.5% of the votes in the same quarter, they’ll get 1.5% of the fund. And so on.

It’s as simple as that. It’s entirely in your hands. Isn’t that brilliant?

Why We Think It’s Important To Support Other Charities.

Here at The Wisdom Trust we recognise, without reservation, the fantastic work being undertaken by thousands of brilliant charities, good causes and other not-for-profit initiatives all over the world.

We salute the supreme dedication of that huge army of staff and volunteers who work tirelessly on behalf of all these organisations and we celebrate their many successes in all areas.

But we also recognise that in spite of all this magnificent effort and all these hard-won successes, much more work still needs to be done if we are going to:

a) truly, completely and utterly eradicate poverty everywhere;
b) provide at least an adequate level of healthcare worldwide;
c) support a gold standard of human rights rights internationally;
d) improve the friendship, goodwill and understanding between different communities across the globe;
e) protect the environment and all wildlife for the benefit of future generations.

Not forgetting, of course, all those other wonderful and worthwhile causes in our communities too.

Our role at The Wisdom Trust is merely to create a wider awareness about these five important global issues and to suggest ways everyone can help make a difference in their own communities and around the world.

But it is, without any doubt whatsoever, all those other wonderful organisations who are out there campaigning, gathering support and using their vast and extensive expertise, which really make things happen.
